What is SinkSod?

SinkSod is a handmade moss insert that rests on your soap dish, sponge holder, or sink ledge. It brings living greenery to one of the most overlooked parts of your home - the sink.

How does it work?

It thrives off natural humidity, steam, and splash-back from your daily sink use. Just mist it once or twice a week and enjoy a small, green ritual every day.

 How long does the moss last?

With light care, it stays fresh for 2–4 weeks. When it starts to fade, you can compost the moss and refresh with a new insert.

Can I reuse the base?

Yes! The reusable base and coconut coir layer can be refreshed with new moss, or composted and replaced as needed.

 Will it block my sink?

Nope! SinkSod is designed to rest outside the drain, on your sponge holder or dish -never inside the plumbing.

Is it safe for kids or pets?

Yes - SinkSod uses real moss and coconut coir. It’s non-toxic and safe to touch, though not meant to be eaten. Kids love misting and caring for it.

Do I need sunlight?

Indirect natural light is best (like a window-facing bathroom or kitchen). No direct sun or grow lights needed.

Is it eco-friendly?

Totally. The moss is compostable, the coir is biodegradable, and we ship in recyclable, minimal packaging.

What comes in the box?

Each box includes:
